Selling craft beer and distributing craft beer are two completely different ball games, but are both vital to the Morgantown operation of craft brewing. From places like Apothecary and the Wine Bar, to Black Bear Burritos and Slight Indulgence, Morgantown has a craft beer scene that continues to expand and offer significantly different craft beverages.
With West Virginia Craft Beer Week 2016 in the books, it is time to reflect upon all of the incredible breweries that made their way into Almost Heaven. 11 West Virginia craft breweries contributed to craft beer week including Greenbrier Valley Brewing, Chestnut Brew Works, Big Timber Brewing, and many more. Tap takeovers with special appearances from County Boy Brewing from Lexington, Kentucky were all over Morgantown. Country Boy even brewed a Huckleberry Gose specifically for craft beer and craft pizza joint, Pies & Pints, which was released during WV Craft Beer Week. West Virginian’s and tourists alike were encouraged to follow the WV Craft Beer Trail during WV Craft Beer Week.
